Steve’s Boat Building An amateur’s attempt to build a strip plank dinghy

Making all the halving joints was much more difficult than I anticipated. Even 0.1 of a millimetre of error on the jig was cumulative, and gave rise to a 2 or 3 mm error at the end of the plank, so there was quite a lot of waste!

Some of the Teak was ‘flawed’, and had been ‘repaired’ by the Cutty Sark team! Hence the pencil - hmmm!
